SUPER ELASTIC BUBBLE NEO-PLASTIC

$750.00

Various archival inks on 24x36” (610x914mm)

This is the final result of a week-long experiment of moving the plotter around larger paper, without thinking too much, eye balling positions, approximating sizes, estimating distances and basically giving less fucks about precision and composition. This piece is the combination of this careless approach and the concept of “Hauntology” - def. a range of ideas referring to the return or persistence of elements from the social or cultural past, as in the manner of a ghost - something I recently discovered in music but that can be applied to figurative art as well. In this case, the elements of the past would be the ghosts of De Stijl, hence the title.

Sold without frame.
